Conección de la cuaderna "B" al frente del larguero.El tubo pertenece a la conexión del tubo pitot.

Vista superior de la conexión de la parte central.Note como he redondeado la entrada para facilitar la entrada del ala exterior.Tambien la forma como está sujetado el tubo pitot en su salida hacia el exterior

Esta es la forma que yo emplee para conectar las alas, y asegurarme que los bordes de ataque coincidieran lo mejor posible,cosa bastante difícil de lograr.Como veran he cortado recto las puntas, ya que pienso usar las puntas en fibra de vidrio,o quizás(no lo he decidido aún)terminarlas en aluminio de la forma que lo hace Bill Spring en su Hummel Bird.

Como podran ver,he colocado dos caballetes, sobre los que puse dos tubos de 80mm x 40mm x 6mts. de acero perfectamente nivelados a lo largo y a través.Luego otros dos tubos a 90º sobre los que apoyé el ala central.Luego conecté las alas exteriores revisando todo y midiendo una y otra y otra y otra vez todo, hasta que todo fué a su sitio.

Cuando tienes las alas conectadas por primera vez, da una gran satisfacción.Observen la línea recta de los remaches sobre el larguero de las TRES alas.Es importante tenerlo en cuenta cuando se las está construyendo separadamente, o caso contrario no coincidiran en línea.Piensen sobre esto.

Center support. To made the lower panel stronger. I installed this support. I took a 3/4" tube and bend the metal over it. Then flatten the sides. I ended up with three rows of rivets on the bottom on the chin panel, but it is strong.
