Here is one of the access panels on the top of the center wing at the wing attach point. This functions as an inspection panel, which is why it is hinged. But it is also great for letting in light when you have your hands filling the bottom access holes while putting in the wing attach pins.

Centre section access panels on top surface of wing, with 0.040 doubler reinforcement.

Same again, centre section access panel to taper pins. One panel each side of main spar on top surface, and one for rear spar.

I put in an inspection panel just ahead of the RH trailing edge to get access to the controls. Used a 0.040" doubler plate underneath.With this panel I can fit, remove and inspect all the control fitting bolts.

Panel held on by countersunk screws and nutplates. I intend to put a wing fairing on so wanted countersunks.
