The dorsal fin is fun to make and requires a fair amount of patience.

The front of the dorsal fin requires bending compound curves to make it fit. Take it slow and be gentle. Bend a little at a time and check the fit as you go.

The rear of the dorsal fin should be trimmed to fit closely. Before installing the fin, be sure to rivet the "L" bracket to the front of the vertical stabilizer and fuselage.

Here is a view of my dorsal and vertical fin, unpainted. It basically looks just like Terry's, although to get the shape of the vertical fin to stay in the proper shape and to prevent the fin from twisting, I added another rib near the bottom, about 2" sloped up toward the front.
